Does your garden or balcony fill up with pollinating insects in spring? Do you like to photograph them when they land on a flower, or while they fly in your green areas?
Participate in the LIFE BEEadapt photo contest!
Pollinators play a fundamental role in our ecosystems, but they are threatened by the effects of climate change. Yet, places like our gardens or balconies can offer them, with a few precautions, important shelters or feeding places.
Through this photo contest, LIFE BEEadapt wants to promote the protection of pollinators through a few simple actions within everyone’s reach: the presence of wild flowers and food plants in private or public green spaces, the practice of delayed grass cutting and more.
The contest is open to both individual participation and to classes of primary and secondary schools in Italy. Your participation in the contest is confirmed only by sending the online form, but given the awareness-raising objective, sharing your photos on social channels with tags and hashtags that refer to the project profile and the initiative is appreciated.
You can submit your application from April 2 to May 16.

What are the prizes?
Individual category
1st prize: a balcony/garden bee hotel;
2nd prize: a basket of agricultural products from a Roman agricultural cooperative;
3rd prize: a set of jars with a mix of seeds “friendly” to pollinators and other sustainable products from the LIFE BEEadapt project;
School Category
1st prize: a set of peat pots* for your class! Along with pencil cases and pencils for your students;
2nd prize: plantable pencils and seed cards* for your class;
3rd prize: a set of peat pots for your class;
